The S.E.R.E. 1 is an amazingly powerful PUSH DAGGER, or T-handle DAGGER blade hand stabber, which gathers the collective wisdom of Special Forces instructors, martial arts fighters, and survival specialists, and makes innovative improvements on the blade, which is very different from the traditional “T”-shaped construction of the handheld thrusting blade. The unique mechanics of the blade allow the user to perform tactical maneuvers such as striking and thrusting, while at the same time making fine cuts on the target.
The piece is made from a single block of Bohler’s N690 premium stainless steel, while the SERI is cut from a single block of N690 steel. The high-quality forging process guarantees excellent strength, and the surface is coated with a black NATO standard coating that eliminates reflections and further improves durability and resistance to rust and corrosion. The Spear Point has a powerful tearing action, and the double-edged design (with a false edge on one side) reduces resistance to penetration, giving the sharp edge perfect cutting properties and penetration. It is even more effective in close defense combat, where it can be precisely maneuvered for both slashing and cutting.
The face of the blade is sharpened with a flat grind, the front of the blade is used for cutting, and the serrated edge at the rear of the blade is designed to quickly cut through tough seat belts, parachute cords, and more.
