At the beginning of 2022, the Swedish Fallkniven (FK) brand launched a new and upgraded F1 series of knives with a new knife steel known as “the king of all knife steels” – ELMAX Super powder steel. The FK brand has always favored and extensively used 3-layer laminated steel. This steel has been rigorously tested in specialized laboratories of authoritative universities, as well as in many harsh environments in the field, and has even won the Royal Swedish Air Force’s Extreme Review, which proves that it is the ideal steel for outdoor survival knives, with superior performance and trustworthiness. Therefore, it will not be easily replaced.
